Chairman's report

Excerpts of report given by Agam Jain , CMD of Jayex Group for the company FY ending 30 September 2007.

We successfully implemented our new ERP system during the year. This was a highly complex task involving extracting data from the legacy systems such as Sage and Act whilst at the same time making sure operations ran seamlessly during the process. Netsuite will enable us to handle an increased number of transactions, allowing us total scalability in our operations. Because of Netsuite we have already noted tremendous increases in efficiency in all operational areas particularly monitoring support cases. We are now fully set to offer our customers exceptional service levels.

We were able to get 90% of our orders executed within 4 weeks however for complete new design developments we are still experiencing delays. Our team is working with our ancillary suppliers and sub-contractors to improve production scheduling and lead times.

On the sales front we consolidated the excellent performance from FY 2005-6 in the UK and improved on the performance in France.

Our X-Touch self arrivals system for clinics has been a roaring success. The Jayex software development team has created an incredibly slick product using the IBM anyplace kiosk hardware. IBM awarded Jayex Technology at their annual conference in Malta in May for this exceptional product and its remarkable sales success. We hope the new LCD based patient calling system : X-Call will achieve similar success. We will focus on continued product development particularly in the field of Queue management and Call displays to maintain our position as market leaders in the coming years.
