Ivybridge Primary School is one of a cluster of schools in the Isleworth, Middlesex area. The Deputy Head Teacher was very keen on installing a digital sign in the playground to inform parents and visitors with important up-to-date information. Jayex was contacted to supply an external LED display which would match the schools branding and also look professional within the school environment.

Working to the schools guidelines, Jayex designed a Graphics Display in an over sized case which incorporates the school’s name and logo. A design drawing was sent to the school for approval. Initially Jayex offered a sign with red LEDs, however, as the case is powder-coated red, Jayex offered the customer green or white LEDs as an alternative to ensure the display looked professional and readable. The customer opted for white LEDs at a premium cost. The result is a sign which is eye catching and easily readable by children, parents and visitors.

The sign is IP addressable and setup on the schools network. This allows the school to send messages to the sign, via the supplied PC software, from any PC on the network.
