Overview

Appointments often run late, which can lead to patients feeling anxious. If the patient has used a Patient Self Check In service, they may start to question whether it worked properly when they used it and report to reception, thereby undoing the benefits of having a Check In solution.

Our Connect QView system provides reassurance to patients that have successfully checked in, by displaying their status on a Media Display screen. Depending on the configuration, the estimated waiting time can also be displayed, further helping to manage patient expectations and avoiding frustration.

Should there be a problem with a patient check in, for example a patient with a telephone appointment turning up in person, the patient will be notified to report to reception. This avoids the situation where a patient thinks they have checked in, but actually haven’t and end up missing their appointment.

The QView service is available at no additional charge to all customers with current Connect Patient Check In and Connect Patient Calling subscriptions, or a current Connect Patient Flow subscription.
