Our latest additions include content aligned with upcoming NHS health campaigns for August, including:
  • Breastfeeding Awareness
  • Managing Hot Weather (Adverse Weather Guidance)
  • NHS App Guidance

We're always looking to expand our library with content that's valuable to your practice. If there's a topic or type of media you'd like to see added, we'd love to hear from you. Please send your suggestions to support@jayex.com.
You can access our training suite of videos here, in particular you will want to review how to manage your playlists

Connect Portal Refresh - Pilot Programme Opportunity

Behind the scenes, our team has been working hard to enhance the Connect Portal experience, and we are excited to share that we are now entering the final stages of development for a brand-new user interface.
This update has been designed with our customers in mind, focusing on making navigating the Connect Portal simpler, more intuitive, and more flexible. We have listened to your feedback and have been working to deliver improvements that will help you configure settings more efficiently.
What does this mean for you?

The new Connect Portal User Interface will introduce a refreshed and improved experience, including:
  • Greater customisation options – particularly for QView users, giving you more flexibility and control over how your content is displayed and managed.
  • A simpler, more intuitive workflow – making it easier to navigate the platform, update content, and manage your patient touchscreens and digital screens with confidence.
  • A more reliable and robust platform – with improvements designed to enhance performance, stability, and the overall user experience.

We are now looking for a small group of customers to take part in our final pilot programme. As an early adopter, you will have the opportunity to explore the new interface ahead of general release, provide valuable feedback, and help shape the final version before it becomes available to all customers.
Your insights will play an important role in ensuring the new Connect Portal delivers the best possible experience for everyone.
If you would like to be part of this exciting next step and help us refine the platform, please get in touch to register your interest.

  3. EMIS Patient Arrival Delay: Known Issue & Jayex Workaround

Some practices that use EMIS may see an intermittent issue where a patient checks in using their self check-in system, but EMIS does not show them as arrived straight away. This can mean a patient appears as arrived in your self check-in system, but still looks not arrived in EMIS for a short period of time. This is a known issue, that has been reported to Optum. If you use Jayex Connect Check In there is a process you can follow to continue to operate as normal.
